✨Mini Thanksgiving Camp with a heart full of grateful for my sweet campers✨
We started by creating snack turkeys with gloves, popcorn, marshmallows, and M&Ms (and enjoyed them while reading The Humble Pie). Then each child made their own mini pie and practiced “using their voice” just like in the story—responding to little scenarios with confidence and kindness.
After a lively read-aloud of Run Turkey Run, we crafted custom turkey tails and played our own silly, high-energy version of the game. We even picked fresh oranges and used fine-motor skills to push cloves into the peels—beautiful patterns and calming scents! 🍊
We wrapped up the day with giggles and whipped-cream chaos playing “Pie in the Face.” The sweetest ending to a thankful day! 🥧💛
